Me too -  bought the 2 pack yesterday to replace powerline extenders. Wifi coverage is now great across the house, but I get the 'Update Failed - please check your internet and open the app again' message...

This started on Friday.  Clearly BT struggles to manage out of hours support which really does surprise me.  Very dissapointed - they've *almost* lost a returning customer - I bought the extender today :-(.  Can we at least expect it by tomorrow evening?

Hamilti, I absolutely agree and have sent an official compaint to BT. Mon-Fri 9-5 support it would seem on anything back-end in their datacentres.

Morning all,

 

Apologies for the problems you've been having over the weekend.

 

We have investigated and found the problems were caused by a power outage at our externally hosted firmware server.

 

These have now been resolved and you can continue to upgrade your Whole Home Wi-Fi systems.

Confirmed...

 

Devices are now updating as expected and mobile apps continue past checking for new firmware.

mines updated as well, but still unable to get past the screen to add more discs. I come to naming one such as Kitchen Lounge etc and it just says There is no response from your network.

This isnt good enough.  
It isnt the discs as I had the same issue on the first lot.

Yes, last week, before I purchased the 2nd set and they said there were problems with the app and it would be fixed end of the month.  

I thought it cant be app related as ive tried it on different platforms so it's either 

 

my talktalk connection

the discs generally are faulty

BT server connection etc issues

All the apps are faulty

Just on the phone to BT now

They said they cant help right now but there is an app update  end of the month which should sort it out! 

 

Same response as last time.  This is a joke.
