Hi I've recently upgraded my landline phone to the BT Premium. On trying to set up the answer machine it doesn't work. Handset 1 tells me it's not available, handset 2 on trying that one says it's on another handset
I've got the answer call on my contract. Any pointers

If its the answering machine that is built into the handsets I would search the the model number online and find the user guide or ring the product helpline - the number for which is normally on the base of the handset or cradle.
If its the 1571 you are having issues with I would contact BT directly who will be able to fix it:

This also has a service checker on to see if there are any area issues although unlikely for the voicemail specifically
You set DV's voicemail to answer after max number of rings and your answer phone to answer at less than that.
