My Lenovo Windows 10 laptop connects just fine to the main BT router in my office. But when I take it to another room, served by one of our three Complete Wifi Discs, it refuses to connect.
In more detail, it appears to refuse to generate an IP address automatically. The only way to connect it via the discs is to manually enter an IP address. But this is an inelegant solution because it only works temporarily.
Thank you for replying. The main router in the office (Smart Hub 2) is connected to the telephone socket, but all three WHW discs are already set up and operating wirelessly. Does that help shed any light on it?
