Merging Wholehome Wifi with the BT Hub

Hey All

Looking for some advice on the following please:-

I have BT Broadband with the BT Smart Hub and also have 3 disc BT WholeHome Wifi, both run on seperate networks under different network names.

Rather than specifically having choose whether to connect to the hub or to the wifi discs is it possible to "Merge" the two networks so that essentially the 3 Discs are all extenders of the main hub signal. Effectively giving me one network rather than two?

Thanks

Castrol

Re: Merging Wholehome Wifi with the BT Hub

@Castrol It's recommended that you forget the Smart Hubs wireless connection in your device settings and just connect to the whole home wifi discs. Alternatively you can switch off the Smart Hubs wifi if you prefer and only connect to the discs.

Re: Merging Wholehome Wifi with the BT Hub

NeilO

Thanks for your prompt reply mate

If I turn off the smarthubs Wi-Fi as suggested will that effect the connection on my mini Sky Q boxes.

Believe my main Sky Q box connects wirelessly to the smart hub and then the other mini boxes connect to that

Thanks

@Castrol in that case it would but can you not connect the Sky Q box to a disc instead?
