My Bt box keeps turning its self on in maintenance mode and asks for a software reset. I’m getting a bit fed up with this now, as sometimes it’s every day. I did a full factory reset last time and lost all of my recordings, which lasted a week, now I’m back to software resets. Is there any cure for this? It’s a Bt 4k uhd box that was supplied new last year after our old box died.
If you are still experiencing the problems after performing the full factory reset then you need to report the problem to BT and the likely outcome is a replacement loan box assuming you are still in a EE TV contract with BT.
