I'm just trying to help my mum figure out a problem, neither of us are great with technology so any help is appreciated, apologise if my explanations are confusing.
Basically my mum, is returning her BT TV box but keeping her broadband. Since unplugging the TV box, the router has been flashing pink/purple.
She removed HDMI from TV, the power lead and she had a wire running from the router to the TV box too. All have been removed.
She still has an ethernet cable running from the router to that white thing on the wall.
I can't see what we've done wrong, I'm concerned they cancelled her broadband accidentally as well as her TV. Is there anything we can check? We've switched ports and restarted etc. In the router box we have one of them old school phone socket cables, and a small phone line switch box thing.
