Rename BT black Powerline adapters

Hi all,

My Dad has bought some second hand black powerline adapters and they have an SSID which is not the same as the house/router. I'm wondering if it is possible to rename them as the same SSID.

I'm sorry if the question is wrong - I'm just going off what he asked. There were no instructions with the adapters and he is a few miles away to drive over.

Personally I would leave them with a different SSID, that way you know what you are connected to and can force a change to a stronger signal if necessary.

You can change the SSID by accessing the management page of the adapter at its IP address.
