If its an old hub which was issued to you as part of a contract, before 13 December 2019, then you can simply take it to your local recycling centre.
After that date, it must be returned to BT, to avoid being charged for it.
Thanks - it has been sat in a cupboard for a couple of years following an upgrade. So tip it is I guess.
You could always re-purpose it as a wireless access point if you have any poor wifi coverage areas.
We actually get very good WiFi coverage from the current hub but the broadband speed itself is poor.
