We have put together a short survey to capture your feedback in terms of what BT can do when you experience home Wi-Fi issues. We would appreciate it if you could take a couple of minutes to complete a short survey. Read more from here, Fix my home Wi-Fi
Has there been a firmware update on the Smart Hub 6 type A in the last few days?
I'm away so can't check the router, but the IP address changed unexpectedly on 30th may and again on 2nd June. Last year, when the firmware updated, it went through a DLM reset and 10 day learning period, I'm hoping that's all it is this time.
Normaly it's rock solid apart from a reboot every 14 days.

Thanks for confirming that, it'll probably settle down again over the next ten days.
Port forwarding is working and I can remotely access my security cameras so my user settings are still there which is always a concern with a firmware update.
Thanks again for your help.
Thanks for the 'heads up' on that.
My speed dropped overnight and snr went up
I wonder wether we will be informed about any changes in this update?
With a bit of luck it will stop the 14 day reboots. I had a type B and that didn't do that, but it did once do a factory reset due to a corrupt database and lost my user settings so it had to go. Fortunately I wasn't away at the time and was able to deal with it but I'm away a lot and rely on accessing my home automation and cameras remotely.
I can't access mine until I return. BT only allow their staff to access the router web interface remotely.
