Re: Smart Hub (6 type A) Firmware update.

Go to solution

I didn't expect the firmware update to make a difference to the '14 day reset'

having suffered from the 14 reset it just stopped all of a sudden and now my connection was at 96 days before it reset because of firmware update

its annoying but as long as it reconnects with same speed then that is all it is annoying

I'm still away, but according to my DDNS updates my router has not rebooted since 2nd June so I'm expecting a reboot and change of IP address tomorrow.

Spot on time, a few minutes over 14 days and my Smart hub has rebooted.

the surprise when it reaches 15 days then 16   as I said mine cleared on it's own with no help from me apart from doing nothing

That's odd, it's just rebooted again, after only 5 days, although last year when our type B did a firmware update when we were away it didn't settle down until we returned a few weeks later and pulled normal levels of data through it. Perhaps DLM gets confused when a line is barely used.

Mine rebooted on the 14 days again so no change.

Mine has rebooted twice after about 7 days each time since the update.

Re: Smart Hub (6 type A) Firmware update.

I'm still away but my wife is home for a few days and the clocks on the oven and microwave are flashing so we had a power cut, which explains the router reboot on the 21st that was puzzling me, so it looks like the F/W update went smoothly and the smart hub is back into it's normal 14 day routine. Speedtest is giving 70down/18up, which is normal for my line.
