To be honest I have left it running on Channel 40 for the 5ghz and where performance seems consistent. One PC connects at 867 Mbs and the other a bit older connects at 325, both at the maximum of the USB Lan connectors.
Very interesting, I am using a Type A at the moment as I am back with BT and to be honest it's been rock solid but I won't speak too soon.
Thanks for that.
I will keep with it at the moment, it’s going to get a good hammering soon as grandsons will be here with their Xbox so throughput will rise astronomically, plus additional IPhones.
I may try a Type A at some point, I have 2 new ones in the cupboard.
Maybe after all this time and a myriad of complaints BT have got the Firmware right at last.
I am being sent a SH2 by BT. Fingers crossed it works with my smart plugs... If not I will have to stick with the type A as I need split bands.
Be interested in your results with SH2 especially splitting the wavebands.
Oops spoke to soon a reboot was forced last night at around Midnight, looks strangely like the thing is on a 3 week reboot. Clearly the new Firmware has some wonderful “enhancements “.
