Smart Hub and BT WiFi disk issues

Hi.

Does anybody please know if my BT smart hub should work with a BT WiFi disk (black)?

I've connected via Ethernet and the lights on the disk flash but always end up solid Red. I've done a factory reset of the disk but don't want to do one on the Smart Hub in case that causes more issues.

I've spent 2 and a half hours on the phone to various people at BT and I've gotten nowhere.

Provided its a Smart Hub 2, it should work via the BT app.

thanks for taking the time Keith, I'm grateful.

I think what I have is a Smart Hub NOT and Smart Hub 2. it doesn't say 2 anywhere on it or the box.

sounds like that's where I'm going wrong.

The disk will only work with the smart hub 2. I cannot understand why BT sent you one.
