We have just bought and set up the smart baby monitor. It seems to connect fine via the app and the video on the parent unit works fine but sound not so much.
The parent unit sound is on max volume and you have to press your ear to the speaker to hear any noise at all. The lights also only go up if he is full on screaming at the top of his lungs and I can hear that sooner from the other room than I can with the parent unit. Doesn’t seem to matter where I put the monitor and the sound is picked up fine on the phone app. Don’t really want to have to constantly run my phone app when he is napping or at night to hear if he wakes.
Welcome to the Community and thank you for posting. I had a similar issue whit my Smart Baby Monitor. My issue was caused by not fully charging the Parent unit. The Parent unit needs to be fully charged (for 12 hours) before it's first used.
If you've done that and your service having issues then the best thing to do is to contact the Product helpdesk.
