Smarthub Activity

So since my last call-out over two weeks ago. The Broadband has work flawlessly and we are all very happy. This morning the SmartHub rebooted with the following messages. (read from bottom to top). Please note that the date reverted to 1st Jan??? it later changes back I guess though some NTP sync. So the question is, why did it reboot? and is there anything that can be done to prevent it?

Re: Smarthub Activity

nothing in logs  could simply be a reboot after 14 days which happens to many customers.  as long as speed and noise margin returned to previous state then no problem but this may repeat in a 14 day cycle  - many posts on forum is using search

Re: Smarthub Activity

Thank you for the reply. Sorry to be pedantic, but when you say "nothing in logs", was that you looked and found nothing or was it a question? The reason I ask is that I'd like to understand the messages. So if there is a list of definitions it would be really helpful. So I've become interested as for the past ....well since I started with the service over two years ago, the connection has been.....not good. The service stated an average of 36Mbs but we mostly got 17Mbs or lower and have been amazed that over the past couple of months the speed shot up to 40Mbs and has generally stayed there apart from a few calls I've had to put in that required a visit. So I'm keeping a screenshot of the connection speed everyday and as mentioned I would like to understand a lot more. Thanks
