Two Lans with BT extenders

I have a HH5 bringing broadband into my home - it provides broadband to my Youview box via pair of Flex 500 extenders

The HH5 also supports a dd-wrt router which provides other services to my home setup. I would like to replace a wifi connection on this second router with a Fkex 500 connection.

can I run two distinct Flex 500 networks on the same ring main ?  I have tried pairing the second set of routers on the same double mains socket but when I deploy them if doesn't seem to provide data access to internet .

Anyone with experience of this type of setup ?

Thanks

Re: Two Lans with BT extenders

You can only have one Flex 500 system runnig on your mains wiring. Only one master is allowed, but you can have a number of slaves running from that master.

All you need to do is to add a extra single Flex 500, and add it to your existing network. It will need to be paired with the Flex 500 which is connected to your home hub 5.

You can then connect whatever you wish to the extra Flex500.

If you have to buy a pair, then you will have a spare, should you need Internet access elsewhere,
