The status page of our BT Smart Hub (running firmware SG4B1000B540) shows 'BT Wi-fi status' as Active.
We wish to disable this.
I have gone to this page, logged in and clicked on 'Opt out of BT Wi-fi' toward the bottom.
Nothing changed. Nothing popped up when I clicked on the text and the router status page still shows that it's Active.

A message when you click the link would be nice. Something to let you know that what you've clicked has actual made some kind of effect on the other side.
Its not just a question of turning off the signal on your hub, it is also having to disable your access to hotspots whilst out and about.
I understand but a message when you click the button would be nice.
I'm having the same issue, As the world is in lockdown i have no use for Hotspots elsewhere nor do i own a phone that receives a wifi signal.
Every page i come across sends me to a page where the button is unprogrammed and the links to help are dead.
How do i opt out? Every avenue to do this is either unprogrammed, deflective or missing.
