We have been BT customers for some years. We are currently using the original BT HomeHub 3. We have not been offered any upgrade.
Should we have been offered an upgrade? How can we get one?

Then you must also have a white Openreach modem as well?
BT do not automatically send a new home hub, you would have to pay for it, and I cannot see what advantage you would gain.
getting a hub upgrade when you renew you contract is a thing of the past and no longer happens
why do you want to change? is there a problem with your connection? if not then in current conditions just stay as you are - if not broke don't fix it
