I have a Smart Hub 2 and cannot get DynDNS to connect, reports as “user name or password incorrect”. I can get NoIP to work though.
Now I want to use DynDNS to update any change of IP address, because it is continuous not as NoIP which requires updating every 28 days. I have entered the user name and password as shown on my DynDNS account both manually and using copy/paste. I have checked the firmware and I think this is up to date.
Has anyone managed to use DynDNS?
It does sound like you're using the wrong credentials to connect, can you logon to the website from a browser with the same credentials
I think you will find that DynDNS now requires HTTPS (secure) login, that the home hub does not support. Not sure about No-IP, but the paid version of No-IP does not require you to login every 28 days to keep the account active.

Will contact DynDNS to see if HTTPS is required as per your reply. Fully aware that NoIP have a paid version.
