Glad that this seems to be working for all - remember to boost my rating
@Dan-O Is this steering necessary ? as the devices themselves seem to be able to switch discs as required
Also iPads and Macbooks have always had issues with wifi connectivity where as iPhones have seemed stable.
Most modern devices are capable of moving between discs by themselves. Some devices are sticky and connect to a particular access point.
It depends on whether they support the 802.11v standard for band transition as this will enable devices to move seamlessly with no interruption.
I've also applied the workaround to disable steering and mailed support
hi when i try to turn off steering I disable it and then hit save and I get cmd_syncwifisteer msg send error.
reboot does not cure
