I cannot whatever I try get the mybtdevice.home to work. I just get the same error message. I can get into a user interface for Whole Home if I type into my PC browser the IP address for the main disk, but there are no settings for "steering." My issue is frequent drop outs (it kind of pulses) and reboots to sort it which are making my wife question why we spent money on a whole new wi fi set up that drops out so often
I find everything aboutr BT disappointing including this forum format which is so NOT silicaon valley in 2019 and very last century. What am I missing?

For Steering
Thank you for your response. Still unable to access that site on my PC (error messges), but it did work just now on my iPhone.
But the UI I see under "settings" has nothing for "steering." Just "compatibility mode." Is that the same thing?
Thanks again for your help!
Hi
No it’s not compatibility mode.
Its not under Settings.
Its on its own page that you have to browse to by typing
http://mybtdevice.home/steering.htm
in the browser URL input box. Note the steering.htm at the end.
As to your pc, it should be accessible just the same. Are you adding the http:// at the front?
Which browser are you using on PC. I’ve got it ok on Edge and Chrome in PC
PS I think you need to be logged in first. So go to http://mybtdevice.home first and login. Then go to
http://mybtdevice.home/steering.htm
or like the answer above use the IP instead of the http://mybtdevice.home/
Thank you for your replies. On the PC using the IP address 192.168.1.5 I get the same "the site cannot be reached."
The user interface I do get to on my PC for Whole Home is 192.168.1.149 but that has no steering settings.
OK that works on my iPhone! Thanks for the "steer" (LOL). Not sure why it is refusing to work via Chrome on my PC.
. . and now have it on my PC changing the IP address as suggested above.
Grateful to all for your help. Are there many other UI settings that are "hidden away" like this? There is nothing in the manual that BT provides and the only way I even came across "steering" was googling these discussions. Otherwise I would never know about the settings.
