Android and iOS version number 3.14.8 has been made available on Google Play Open Beta and TestFlight (iOS) on Monday 20th December 2021 for the Whole Home Wi-Fi app.
Changes since Android 3.13.10:
The primary focus of this release is to provide improvements in network discovery, UI and accessibility improvements (including making the sector colours of the Data Usage pie chart more discernible) and stability fixes to improve usability of the app.
How to join the App Open Beta programme
These instructions will enable a customer to opt in to the Open Beta programme to receive the latest app updates earlier and provide feedback to BT.
The instructions differ for iOS and Android.

Join the Open Beta on an iOS device
- Beta apps are distributed via TestFlight. Please download TestFlight from the App Store to begin: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/testflight/id899247664
- Click this link from your device to opt-in to the Beta programme for iOS: https://testflight.apple.com/join/OhNdWIQl
- Open TestFlight and you should now be able to see the Whole Home Wi-Fi app listed as a Beta download
- Install the app and use it as normal
NOTE: If you have any problems seeing the new app in TestFlight, make sure you are only signed in with a single Apple ID to avoid conflicting with your App Store sign-in.
- Android
Join the Open Beta on an Android device
- Beta apps are distributed via the Google Play Open Beta programme.
- Click this link from your device to opt-in to the Open Beta: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.bt.wholehomewifi
- Google Play will take up to 4 hours to finalise joining the Open Beta in the background. You can confirm this has completed by going to the Store listing for Whole Home Wi-Fi and you will see (Beta) added.
- Update the app to the latest version and use it as normal
NOTE: If you have any problems seeing the new app, make sure you are only signed in with a single Google Account to ensure you have opted-in with the correct Google account. You can check in the Google Play app.
