My problem is that after connecting via Ethernet, the purple turns to blue for a few seconds and then turns red. The app can’t find the disc either.
I’m no expert so excuse me if you’ve already done these, but my suggestions/thoughts are:
Are you leaving the master disc connected by Ethernet to the same router while you try to install the extra disc?
Have you tried restarting the whole network (and router) and trying again. Likewise with the extra disc installation process in the app.
Presumably you’ve already factory reset the extra dish?

Just a comment by way of feedback but being colour blind, blue and purple is very hard to differentiate.
Maybe something BT need to think about when designing these things!

I agree, the blue and purple are almost identical and very hard to distinguish.
10% of the male population will have this issue!
