Re: Whole Home WiFi firmware update v1.02.04 build10

Looks like a big anticlimax, TBH not many people are posting saying that they managed to update !

Re: Whole Home WiFi firmware update v1.02.04 build10

@Steve59

As I mentioned, the upgrade has now been staggered. All devices should be able to receive the update within the next day.

Do you have automatic updates switched on? I suggest turning it on, then you don't need to manually check for updates over that time.

Thanks,

Re: Whole Home WiFi firmware update v1.02.04 build10

I have automatic updates on and it installed just before lunch. Everything running fine.

As a home we have PCs, Macs, iPads, iPhones etc etc and we’ve never had any of the issues others have described. I haven’t had the ‘not connected to network’ app error either. My WHW is connected to a smart hub so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it.

Um, the auto update is only checking over a 2 hour period. What’s to say the time it checks it will get the update? So if it doesn’t, what then, wait until the next day, and the next ......?

@Dan-O are you really saying BT don’t have sufficient ‘capacity’ to handle more then a couple of simultaneous requests for the firmware? Why not just post up the firmware and allow a manual update?

Re: Whole Home WiFi firmware update v1.02.04 build10

Having had the update for over 9 hours, it has been stable. I even managed a video call which before would have failed.

No sign of the iOS app update.

Hang on in there guys.
