Whole Home device connected to furthest Disc

I have a 5 disc setup with firmware 1.02.04 build 10.

I am having an issue with one of my 4 nest cams connecting to the disc which is furthest away from it. The only way I can resolve this is by switching off the furthest disk and then the nest reconnects to the one nearest to it which has the best signal. This is really annoying as the nearest disk connects at 144meg with great performance but the furthest disk connects at about 13 me with valley performance.

I thought the idea of the whole home is to ensure your devices are connected to the optimal disk automatically.

Reading this and other forums I see other users also have this issue.

How / when will this be resolved - not impressed....

Re: Whole Home device connected to furthest Disc

There's a new software update coming next week. See other thread. They say that the disc layout may change after the update so maybe that'll help you?
