Whole Home nightmare

Hi.
I have 4 discs attached to my smart hub 6.
Connected to the system is a Chromecast we use for streaming. The streaming is awful as the signal seems to intermittently keep dropping.
I have also noticed that on my PC and laptop the wifi indicator intermittently shows the yellow triangle suggestion signal drop out. It then reconnects a few seconds later.
For the money this is a very poor and i wonder is this a fault and is there a fix.

Hi,

 

A few questions:

 

  1. What firmware version of the BT Whole Home Wifi are you running?
  2. Have you checked in the app that each of the disks are reporting as having an excellent or good connection?
  3. Have you updated the Chromecast firmware to the latest version as Google have confirmed issues affecting a range of wifi access points & routers?

So is it the router that's bombing or the Chromecast?
What about the intermittent drop out with other devices such as my PC which has a wifi card?
Surely this points to a WH issue?

Can you please tell me what firmware version of the WHW you are on?

Hi there
In response to your questions.
Chromecast firmware is 1.29.104827. I'll look at this as don't recall ever updating it.
Whole Home firmware is 1.02.03 build 3
All disks are showing excellent.
