Whole Home wifi : My phone does not switch discs

Hi,

I have set up 2 whole home discs, one upstairs & one downstairs.

They both have the same SSID & password, the latest firmware and both show great signals and work very well.

However, when I go upstairs with my galaxy note 8, the note 8 does not switch over to the 2nd disc, even if I'm in the same room as the disc.

Is there something that I'm missing here, I thought a mobile phone would switch to the disc giving the most powerfull signal.

@stickfly I found this answer in the FAQ's 

Why are some of my devices not connected to the nearest Whole Home Wi-Fi disc

Your Whole Home Wi-Fi is constantly monitoring the network to ensure each device has the best available connection. This may mean some devices will get better speed from one of the other discs where there is more Wi-Fi bandwidth available.

If you still need help with this I'd recommend you get in touch with the helpdesk

You could try disabling AP steering from the above menu which is accessed after logging into the web interface then follow the link
