Whole home BT Discs - one not working unless it's plugged in to the router

Go to solution

Hi there

I bought two Whole Home BT discs, the setup was quite buggy actually and I had to reset them a few times.

I got one up and running but the second disc will not work unless it says connected to the router via ethernet... which is really weird. If I remove the cable it stays red, and the other one will stop working also.

Could you please help?

All the whole home products require one disc mum to be connected via the Ethernet cable. Only BT complete WiFi has a WiFi connection to the first disc

Ah that would make sense hah. So can I buy another one and add to it? As I saw something that said 'only whole home wifi add on discs will work with the discs in this box.

You can add to a max of 6 discs total currently. It just has to be the same type of Whole Home. ie. If it's Whole Home Gen 1 then you can only add the same
