Whole home network simply not helping at all

I live in a very old stone cottage and the walls are thick! It’s also spread over 3 floors. I have the by whole house network with 3 discs ....

on on the ground floor I have disk one and the ethernet cable disk one is plugged into the ethernet the light is blue

on the first floor landing I have disc two which also has a blue light

then on the second floor I have disc three which also has a blue light

my problem is no matter where we are in the house devices will always want to connect to the desk on the ground floor - often dropping as signal is poor!

So if I am in my bedroom my phone and iPhone will keep trying to connect to disk one even though we can see disk to with a blue light can anyone help! kids on the 2nd floor, iPads only want to connect to disc 1!!!

Re: Whole home network simply not helping at all

Hi @Welshcaroline, welcome to the forum, and thanks for posting. Sorry that the Whole Home Wifi (WHW) discs are not helping you to connect.

Contact the WHW product helpdesk as they are best placed to help you with this. You can call on 0808 100 6116 (Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm and Saturday 9.00am to 2.00pm) or you can drop them an email: btconnectedhome@bt.com

 cheers

John
