Whole home wifi best stable firmware

I have ordered whole home wifi as we have old brick walls so covergae is not great and hoping a mesh system will help daisy chain wifi across the house.

I have read plenty on the firmware issues but these are quite old threads so was wondering is it best to disable firmware update straight out of the box or to load a specific firmware.

Is there an easy way to be 100% sure I can control when the updates are applied or a way to block the ip of theupdate server to ensure any installed firmware does not get updated.

Thanks

Re: Whole home wifi best stable firmware

Hi @hungabunga , current firmware is the most stable one. Let your discs upgrade to it when you first install your product (the app will prompt you). Once they're all upgraded (check each disc version on the App / Disc details), you can choose to disable automatic upgrade in the app if you wish.

Hope this helps.
