Re: WholeHome Wifi firmware v1.02.05 build 10 - surprise!

Correct. Resets all renames back to "unknown" and the MAC ID or if the device broadcasts it's name it will use that. Apple devices for example will show the name of the device set in IOS. Unfortunately you can't reset a single name. It's all or nothing.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know what it does with 'Offline' devices?

They all get removed until they connect again. Will then show as offline once they go offline again. i.e. clears out the offline list and starts to rebuild it

It clears the access control settings, groups and rules too. Basically everything to do with devices looks cleared and ready to start from scratch.

Re: WholeHome Wifi firmware v1.02.05 build 10 - surprise!

I have an issue whereby I am unable to recreate any groups (Add a Group) after a reset of the Device List.

I am running v1.02.05 build10.

I have tested on iPhone & iPad. Tried rebooting iphone, rebooting all discs

Any ideas?

Re: WholeHome Wifi firmware v1.02.05 build 10 - surprise!

I have resolved this issue.

Both my ipad & iphone were set to use Apple iOS 12 as I am a Beta tester.

When I used an iPhone on iOS 11.4.1, I was able to use the app to create a group without issue.

Worth noting for when Apple roll out iOS 12 publicly in the next few weeks!
