Wholehome App for IOS 12, failed.

Hi

There was an update to IOS app, I installed it, now when launched even though I am on my bt whole home wifi it thinks that I am not so I cannot proceed.

Anyone else seeing this?

I tried deleting the app and started again, but it still does not work

Hi @garethsnaim

When I downloaded the update, it did require me to sign in but works fine both on iOS 12 and iOS 12 beta 1 on iPhone XS Max 

What device are you trying to download the app onto?

FWIW I am not adding disks or anything. All three of my disks are connected via ethernet. The app just appears to not recognise its on a whole home network

Had exactly the same experience. Internet is working fine, all discs on blue, can login to web interface but all the information is missing, no discs, no logs and if you try and restart it has an error that it cant send the message.
Haven't tried restarting the discs by powering the off and on but until this everything has been fine and my WiFi still is!
I'm guessing it's iOS 12 and maybe they'll need a firmware and app update.

Get 3 error codes, 1200, 2000 & 5000

Hopefully soon!

Update: Pinged the 3 discs using Fing and all replied except 1.
Powered each of them off and on and figured it must be the main disc connected to the router.
2 mins later, app working again.

Also check you haven't accidently connected to BT Wifi X or with FON whilst the WiFi was playing up!

Also, have noticed the BT WiFi app (for connecting to other people's BT WiFi whilst out and about, goes crazy walking down my High Street!) alerts me when I get home and connect to BT Whole Home even though it's definitely going on my main WiFi and not one of the roaming ones. Maybe a conflict in some recent BT app updates?
