Wifi disc gone red after period of solid blue.

I have a smart hub 2 and 1 wifi disc which was working fine for a few weeks but now has turned red. I have tried turning it off and on again but it still goes solid red. Do I have to pair it up again with my hub which is upstairs?

I am hoping I don't have to do that all the time as a nuisance for someone who is disabled. The hub is blue with no broadband issues. Starting to regret getting complete wifi to be honest as TV signal still interrupted when watching demand if there is an advert as it then won't move on.
