This maybe a daft question but.......
On researching if i could add more to my mini hub setup, i got the following message on bt help.
Can I connect to BT Vision or YouView using a BT Mini Hub?
The BT Mini Hub is ideal for extending your wireless coverage and removing wi-fi blackspots in your home.
We recommend using a BT Mini Connector Kit for BT Vision and YouView services.
I can't see how one would provide a better service over the other?
The mini connector kit is for Ethernet only and doesn't have any wifi capability. The mini hub has wifi capability.
Looking again, I don't think the mini hub even does Ethernet. If you want both then the home hotspot 600 is the way to go.
Yeah, on third look I see that it has Ethernet. Ok, then no difference as far as Ethernet is concerned, comes down to wifi requirement or not.
I believe the Mini Connector is recommended over the Mini Hub because it's giving your Youview box a dedicated connection rather than sharing it with various Wi-Fi devices. As long as you're not maxing out the Wi-Fi of the Mini Hub, you should see no difference in performance.
