I've been getting the same message every time I attempt to log in. Been texting BT but nothing's worked. I used Microsoft and Google to access my email. Do you use the same? I'm going to try Outlook.
It appears lots of users, but not all, are having similar problems logging into BT email today from hours ago.
Getting the logon screen , entering the email address and password and getting

Downdetector shows BT email as down from 10:23.

I cannot access emails nor "My BT" since trying mid morning. At first I assumed I needed to reset my password, but despite several attempts I still cannot get in. Attempts to check coverage get an error message
My iPhone wont send or receive emails either. My landline, BT Televison, Broadband Internet and Home Hub are, however, working as usual? I tried ringing tech support on my BT Landline (as I couldn't get the AI Bot to work on my BT Mobile), and the advisor in Newcastle said BT's systems were all down, with no predicted timescale for a fix. However friends a couple of miles ago who, like me have btinternet emails are not having problems?
What's going on? I can't believe BT systems are really down? And more to the point, how and when will it be fixed?

It is not unreasonable to follow those steps and try changing your password, especially after triple checking your password and having tried on other devices.
Can you stop gaslighting me now and telling me I should call in for a 40 minute wait if I cant login to my email. Personally I would have to be pretty certain there was a problem specific to my account before doing that.
This is pathetic by BT and they should just have put a message up saying they are having issues. That is all it would take.
TBH I have used BT mail for years, since around 2005 (when it was yahoo that they were using) I think and I always stuck with it for some things despite it's flaws. It's major flaw has always been the login to the webmail. They never seem to get it right since leaving yahoo. around 2012 Oh well.
That web page makes no mention of the error "unable to validate the information" which you stated I was to search on.

I was trying to give you some advice what to do before changing your password should something like this happen again as by doing what you have done will possibly have caused you more problems however I will not waste any more of my or your time.
What is wrong with BT? All of a sudden I cannot sign in to my BT emails, I have three different ones and none of them work. It doesn't acknowledge my password. Then I change it and the problem remains. I am going round in circles. Anyone else experienced the same?

Did the same, changed my password and it didn't work. Very frustrating!
