That is not a problem with your BT EMAIL but a setting you need to change in your mail app on your samsung
Sorry but I have tried that and it doesn't help. Could be because the BT app is not a direct one to the email b but to a selection of things, one of which is the email. Think BT need to work on this problem

The sound notifications can be managed through the main settings on your device or the BT Mail App itself.
On your tablet, could you go to the main settings, select Notifications > Advanced settings > Manage notification categories for each app and tap the toggle to turn this on. If you then go to Settings > App > BT Mail > Notifications > to ensure all 3 toggles are enabled.
On the BT Mail App, if you go to settings and look for the notifications tab, to check this.
Are you receiving other notification sounds okay?
