Beaware this is most likely a scam as BT only uses BT.com email domain so do not click on any links and do not reply to it.
Also if you blocked it how did your email account receive it!
To check if its blocked log onto your BTMail account using a browser, not an email client/app, and then click on your username at the right hand side.
Select "Settings" then go to the left hand side and select "Mail". Scroll down and click on "Blocked Senders". Scroll down the list until you find the one you want to unblock and select it. Click on the small "Trash" symbol at the right hand side.
It will only delete the email address from the blocked senders list not your contacts list.
That is a security message set by BT when the settings are changed so that if you were hacked and changes made you would be informed.
You can not turn it off nor could any hackers. In a couple of days it will be turned off automatically by BT.
As far as I am aware the warning is not usually given when all you are doing is removing a blocked address.
If you did not make any changes to the auto forwarding check that there is nothing set there.
I went to auto fowading andsaw this message
No. If there was any forwarding set up you would have seen the address that your email was being forwarded to in the "Destination" box.
Thank you so much for all your help
