4 week wait for Infinity Install - Is this normal

Had notification that my cabinet is now live so placed an order but engineer visit wont be until 12th June. Is it normal to wait over 4 weeks to get Inifinty, seems a long wait for an engineer.

You will find that there is no "normal" with BT. Some people have had it installed sooner and some take longer. It might be worth contacting BT to see if there is an earlier date available, sometimes if there is a cancellation you can get that slot.

The engineers work for Openreach, the firm which maintains the UK's broadband and phone network for all ISPs other than KC and Virgin Media, so there's big demand for them.

All orders are placed in a queue and dealt with in order of receipt, sometimes you can get a cancellation and be done earlier but the appointment you were given will have been the earliest available at the time you placed the order.
