I have asked a mod for some help checking to see if inadvertently you have benn moved to superfast 1 for down speed. They will post here
I have an idea it could be DLM stuck and a reset may correct it. Whatever it is the mods will get to the bottom of it.
Any restriction is on your connection speed at 55mb not on your download speed

I called there but missed you, I've taken over management of the fault and complaint on your account and have raised a case with our suppliers BT Wholesale to look at your broadband speed. I hope to have further updates for you tomorrow and will follow up with you then.
