Re: 50Mbps on Fibre 2 - Since Late 2017

Hi @topleya I called there but missed you, as per the router stats you've posted the data rate is showing that its currently syncing at 65.7Mb at the moment. I can't find any faults with the line and I'm afraid there are no further adjustments I can make to improve on what you're getting at the moment.

@topleya

unfortunately your stats never show your actual internet conenction time  if you can get a stable connection and there a few errors then G.INP should be activated by DLM which should reduce your noise margin and give some boost in connection speed     This could take 10/14 days stable provided few errors

@imjolly, surely G.INP is more likely to activate if there are more errors?

Re: 50Mbps on Fibre 2 - Since Late 2017

surely if the line had lots of errors the last thing you would want is to drop the noise margin down to 3db. if struggling at 6db it will drop conenction at 3db with loads of errors

DLM wouldn't drop the target SNRM down to 3 dB if there were too many errors. But, the errors would decrease dramatically when G.INP becomes activated. DLM can activate G.INP without dropping the target SNRM, they're two separate things.
