My line has recently started to play up. I have now 10Mbit/s line speed in BT hub which should be 50Mbit/s!
I have raised a fault with BT which they claimed they fixed. The line downgraded itself in a few steps - used to be 12Mbit/s last week. Is this normal and what to do?

I have no experience with this 😕 is it too high? I had some glitches when I surfed (this was webpage related) which resulted in restarting BT hub - that's when the speed dropped I think
Interestingly, I don't use landline - I only have old school mechanical dial phone therefore I cant use 17070 service
A phone is the most basic, useful diagnostic tool. Without knowing if there is a dial tone or no noise on the line you are going to have to call it in and hope for the best.
