My line stats are now:
BT Wholesale Broadband Performance Test
Broadband Speed Test Results
Download Speed (Mbps): 3.60
Upload Speed (Mbps) : 0.56
Ping Latency (ms): 1315
It won't let me do the further test as my connection keeps "timing out" before it does the test.....
This is all done with connection straight into modem & router- not wifi.
My phone line is now clear with out the significant crackling I had before - but my line DLM does not seem to have rest despite things now been fine for several days- My phone line as mentioned before became faulty and then discomected completely when transfered from ADSL2+ to VDSL2 - then followed by a lightening strike ...
What can I do to sort this out??

are you sure your attenuation is 35db? or just a typo and should be 53db?
