Advice needed – No fibre broadband despite village upgrade and fibre node at my address

That is just a cable joint.

The checker shows FTTP isn't available and your maximum estimated speed is 13.7Mbps with FTTC

None of the other screenshots of neighbours properties show FTTP available.

The Labels on those Cables don’t look like the ones Openreach use.

Can you get a photo of front of the Node?

The only places in Tetney I’m seeing FTTP is a small cluster of homes on Thoresby Road and what looks like a new Housing Estate just off somewhere called Station Road.

Tetney is closer to the coast and further North than I thought. Possibly off Grimsby Head End. Not sure and to be honest doesn’t matter.

It’s possibly Quickline or K-com, they have done a few builds around that area I think.

I more inclined to believe it’s Quickline as they use the same Prysmian Nodes and CBT’s that Openreach do.

I travel through Hull regularly and KCOM put these Box Shaped Nodes on the upper envelope of the Pole.

Also this from 2023 says Quickline are building in Tetney.

I’ve not seen K-Com down as far as Boston/Spalding yet so I wasn’t sure.
