FTTP is currently being rolled out in my area by both Openreach and Lila Connect. As far as I can see on current pricing if I upgrade to Halo 3+ I will get full fibre 100 from BT as soon as available for £63 a month on a 24 month contract. Might ditch landline and save a bit.
Lila connect are not known to me but appear to have agreement with local authority and government funding. Edited by mod.
Am I missing something, any comments?

Yes, many "altnets" as they are referred to price cheaply to attract as many customers as possible to fatten the turkey.
Their goal is not making a long term sustainable business, but being bought out by a bigger player in the market once they reach an attractive mass, preferably before all the loans/funding run out.
You are also comparing apples with pears because Halo3+ provides lots of additional services/benefits that the comparable service does not.
Are you sure that both are available? It would require both to lay their own cables. Virgin aside, fibre companies tend not to duplicate Openreach roll out as it massively reduces their potential customer base.
Both saying "coming soon" can see the pavements in the area being dug up for Liva and open reach have "coming soon" message on web site.
Thanks. I am looking for comments on what BT are supplying for the extra costs that I need to take account of.
Thank you. I currently have Halo 2 and have looked on the BT site for what Halo 3+ offers, other than the wi-fi backup if it goes down I can't see much more, are there other benefits I am missing?

All of the benefits of Halo 3/3+ are listed on the web site. The basic 100Mb package without is around £35pm (without phone).
