I am on Superfast Fibre 2 Unlimited and have been for a while. I upgraded from Superfast Fibre 1 many months ago. My speed is rock steady at 54Mbps download and 18Mbps upload (which is at the lowest end of the predicted speed on my contract 54-73Mbps) and never fluctuates. I live 350 metres from the cabinet (actual not as the crow flies) on a fairly modern estate.
Should I be expecting a little more download speed (as usual the "average speed" is 67Mbps)?
How do I know my speed is correctly set at the exchange and doesn't remain at my old Superfast 1 settings?
I have the latest Openreach Master Socket (Latest BT Hub connected direct to the Master Socket) and used the BT Speed/line checker from BT. I have FTTC
I enjoy BT Sort in UHD however, one Google search and I get picture break up.

If you were only getting 54M on Superfast1, moving to Superfast2 would have no effect as you are below the speed cap for Superfast1 anyway.
Please post your line stats from the hub and results of the dsl checker https://www.dslchecker.bt.com/

Your upload has increased, SFF1 is 9-10 mbps upload but if you're getting 18 mbps upload I would of though your download would be faster than 54 mbps, see what the experts have to say.
Can you post the router stats please Advanced Settings > Technical log > Information. The dsl checker shows that you are connecting at 64M download speed.

With noise margin down at 3.3db it would you have already had a speed boost from G.INP
The only advantage for you being on Superfast 2 is the upload speed. If that suits you then you are on the right fibre speed. If not, downgrade.
