So Wednesday afternoon my internet went down, I had to use my Hybrid connection and I left the grey dsl cable out because it kept connecting and disconnecting.
Anyway open reach guy came and tested everything said it was all fine. But after he wouldnt reset my line because he said id have to go through it all again. Ive now lost 7 meg. Was he right not to reset?

They’re only supposed to do a DLM Reset if they find and fix a Hard Line Fault.
If it’s a case of, ‘No Fault Found’ at the time of their visit then they’re supposed to leave as is because the DLM Reset will wipe any DLM Data that they may need for further diagnostic testing.
Also a DLM Reset may slow your connection down even further as a Reset automatically turns off Vectoring and they have no way to turn it back on themselves as it’s an automated process by the DLM.
