When I bad slow throughout problems first engineer changed master socket faceplate from mk2 to an mk3 and it was giving me 13 meg less sync compared to the test socket and extension so the next one put me an mk2 back in sorted that problem then the third engineer gave me another mk3, didn't ask for it.... And it's just like the first one, 13 meg less sync than the test socket and extension, good job I don't use the master socket or I'd be connected at 67 meg not 80. Think bt need to stop issuing these new mk3 out.
Nice sarcasm man -_-, can anyone tell me if the modem is faulty, downstream noise margin has been 5.3dB this afternoon, turning various things off and then the snr went up to 5.4dB then I reset the modem and changed what plug socket it was in on the 4 way extension and its gone back to 6.3dB, faulty modem/power supply or plug socket?
Nope hg612. I've been getting a ton of CRC errors during the day but not the night, can't seem to isolate the problem, the noise ratio today was 5.3 but as soon as I rebooted modem 6.3. I think it might be faulty it is pretty old more than 12 months, I've just bid on a brand new one on eBay.
