I'm on Fibre 2 with a minimum guaranteed download speed of 46 Mbps. Until recently it's all been good - performance c50Mbps. However, the last couple of weeks it's slowed to a consistent level of c16Mbps. I've run the BT support checker and received the "we can't see your Hub online so we're not able to run a speedtest for you at the moment" message, followed by "We'll need you to get in touch". I also ran DSL checker and the report said VDSL speed of 75-78Mbps for my number.
I've called 17070 option 2 and it was all silent.
I have a HH5 and the router log is available - looking at it there was a 'blip' restart this morning (I then rebooted the router) but it had been running without interruption since 5th Nov. The router is running firmware v0.07.08.11237-BT (Fri Nov 23 14:23:53 2018).
What should I do to return to the guaranteed speed?
post hub stats troubleshooting then helpdesk
post the dslchecker results
from stats you appear to have a 22mb connection speed on an attainable of 22mb
the username is generic and same for everyone
from dslchecker your connection speed is nowhere near your expected range. have you tried using the test socket with a filter to see if that gives an improved connection?
Why do my posts keep disappearing from this thread?
I was explaining that I have a very similar problem.
For at least the last 5 years my speed has been 70/19 but in the last few says it has dropped to
anything from 38/17 to 48/17
My socket looks like number 2, it used to look like number 6 until an engineer replaced it about 3 months ago.
It's very annoying
already posted quiet line test is ok so phone working
