Re: Hi @nibbled, I'm really sorry you're still experiencing i...

Thanks @NeilO  appreciate you guys looking into this. I'm hoping that this isn't a recurring issue that the cap returns after days/weeks and it just wasn't 100% fixed the first time.

@jparnell82 - I can't be sure it was fixed by the mods here, I woke up one day and I just got full speed uploads, I did get a callback but said the issue had already been resolved, as above I hope that the issue wasn't actually fixed properly to first time and then when the mods here fix the issue then it won't go back to being capped again.

@nibbled the Hub team have applied the firmware update to your Hub this morning, they advised the factory reset yesterday had knocked it off.

@thejoker00 I'll send you a private message in a moment so you can get in touch.

Re: Hi @nibbled, I'm really sorry you're still experiencing i...

@NeilO Thanks for sorting, I can confirm my uploads are back to the 120mb range.

Just out of interest, I did realise that the factory reset yesterday might have knocked off the update but can I ask why the uploads went back down to 30mb in the first place? I hadn't changed anything or messed with the hub once my uploads went to the maximum the first time so was surprised when it got capped again, not sure what triggered it or if it was something automatic that kicked in.

Anyway, I'll keep an eye on it over the coming days/weeks and will report back any issues.

But for now thanks again for sorting this out!

@nibbled sorry I can't answer that as the Hub team put the drop in upload down to the reset and didn't mention anything else. Keep an eye on it and you know where we are if you need any further help with this.

Re: BT Fibre 900 Upgrade / Smart HubWa 2 upload throttling

Hi Mods, jumping on this as seeing the same issues for my upload only. It was sitting around 10mb, but since being reviewed by the FTTP team. Which I’m now being hit with the 50mb cap.

I’m running latest firmware on SH2.

Can the hub fix be applied please.

Re: Hi @nibbled, I'm really sorry you're still experiencing i...

I’m jumping back on this thread too... I have been on Fibre 900 since around April time and can honestly say I have never been happy with it.... phoned loads and loads of times... I just do not see hardly any difference from the fibre 250 that I was previously on. My main bugbears are the WIFI signals sometimes as low as 120 or lower on Iphone 11 and that is sat right next to the router.... it does go up but never seen it in the 400’s maybe 320 if i’m lucky.... but was getting 290/300 on the fibre 250 all the time. Its deffo not right.... the other major bugbear is no speed test to the hub on the BT app this is majorly disappointing... should have been updates by now. Can a moderator please contact me also.... I would like the specialist team to look into mine also and check that the hub is deffo giving out the fastest speed possible. I am just not overwhelmed by it...it hasn’t got the wow factor and I am paying £54.99 per month for it!

Hi @neil8471,

Thank you for posting. I'm sorry you're not happy with the performance of your connection. With what you've posted your issue does sound different from what's being discussed in this thread where users are seeing that their upload speeds are capped.

To get a better understanding of how your connection is performing you do need to test using a wired connection and there are so many things that can impact the performance over wireless.

If you take a look at the post for my colleague @SeanD it should help to answer some of the points you have raised - Full Fibre from BT - Your questions answered

Thanks
