Well since I posted the original message on 7th Jan (when I had been experiencing 2 or 3 dropouts since November 2020) I havent had one since.
I wonder if BT fixed something locally ?
sounds more like faulty faceplate or filter that was causing your problems. I doubt very much BT did something which stopped you hub dropping conenction
