Hi,
I'm coming here as I've raised 3 faults with BT so far but the issue hasn't been resolved. For some reason the faults keep getting closed without without any communication with myself to check if it's fixed.
For as long as I remember the router occassionally resets by itself, it feels like this is happening more frequently and the logs show it's happening once or twice a day. I'm not sure if it's an issue with the line or the router.
Below is an extract from the WAN log, this cycle repeats itself:

Is there any noise on your phone calls? Dial 17070 and select option 2, there should be no noise between the announcements.
are you using the test socket to see if that stabilises your conenction by eliminating your internal wiring and faceplate
Thanks for the replies.

I don't have a landline phone, I will see if I can get hold of one to test.

I wasn't aware of a test socket but have just googled to see what it is, I should be able to test this easily enough
I will report back when I've had a chance to action these suggestions.
you will need to use a filter and leave it conencted for a few days if possible
Please read Why do I need a landline phone?
You will need to connected to BT Broadband to access this link, and any other links I post.
